There are some spiders that creep me out. Some I don’t mind, and others I’m not too crazy about. But snakes? Snakes creep the bejesus out of me. That’s why I still can’t believe that the Brazilian guy driving his motorcycle at 160 miles per hour down the highway didn’t a.) scream, b.) crash, or c.) both when a yellow snake pops out of his dashboard mid-ride and slithers up onto his hand. Fortunately, the dude had been filming video from the driver’s seat, so it’s immortalized on camera and YouTube. And good thing, because it’s definitely something you’ve got to actually see to believe….
Meghan Neal of the NY Daily News reported:
“If you’re clocking more than 160 mph on a motorcycle the last thing you want is an unexpected surprise.
But when a Brazilian man flying down an open road at top-speed noticed a yellow snake slithering on the bike toward his hands, he amazingly kept his cool.
That is, until the snake slid right over the man’s hands. The rattled rider slowed down and headed for the curb. When the bike was fully stopped he jumped off the bike and ran – eventually coming back to shoo the snake off the road so it didn’t get run over, the Daily Mail reported.
The rider had been filming a first-person video from the bike’s seat, so the whole thing is captured on camera.
Titled “The World’s Fastest Snake!” the video was posted to YouTube Tuesday and had nearly 485,000 views by Thursday afternoon.”

I’ll tell ya, there’s not much that’s scarier than having a snake pop out at you while driving… on the highway… going 160 miles per hour… on a motorcycle… with no airbags!! Can somebody please award this Brazilian man a medal of courage already?!
